• Activities in electrical and control system to achieve the said objectives.
• Use engineering principles and data to help solve problems and trouble shoot production issues.
• Reduce process variability and improve melting performance through improvement initiatives and projects.
• Conduct equipment and process experiments and innovations to achieve operational excellence and eliminate batch errors.
• Lead developments and propose engineering programs in electrical and control engineering that can improve or enhance the current process capabilities.
• Co-Work with Division with new expansion project of design review, equipment checkout
• Major areas are in control system and requires on call for night shifts and on weekends, as well as on site for urgent issues support if any
• Equipment down time analysis and improvement.
• Daily troubleshooting and improvement to maximize equipment up-time.
• Perform the weekly and quarterly preventive maintenance system within the prescribed guidelines and maintain appropriate records.
• Develops and maintains records for equipment down time and parts replacement.
• Schedule and execute the weekly and quarterly PM.
• Schedule and execute the opportunity and PM routine work order.
• Procures and expedites parts and materials for maintenance department by coordinating with purchasing, suppliers, and requesters.
• Perform spare parts management and in-coming quality control work
• Develops initiates and monitors departmental budget, forecasts, SOP’S, ISO and TPM-5S system for department.
• Support & initiate shop floor equipment & tools improvement;
• Assist shop floor’s routine jobs.
  

• Willing to understand process and then apply the engineering solution for process improvement and optimization as a process controls expert.
• Strong understanding of process controls system including ATS, Basler, DRS, and MBJ system, and the PLC language has AB, Back off, and Mitsubishi.
• Project Leadership Experience (defining scopes, budget, timelines, etc.)
• CAD capability for electrical drawing modification or revision.
  

• College or above degree of Science Degree in Electrical or Controls or Computer area.
• 2 or more years in electrical or power experience
• Working experience as a control engineer use process control to automate and control operational variables such as flow rates, temperatures, for example Petrochemical or Glass industries is a plus.
