Port To Port Immigration Services is searching for skilled concrete finishers to relocate to Canada. Candidates should be capable of holding conversations inEnglish (intermediate level).Job Duties:

• Capable to finish edges and corners.
• Capable in using floats.
• Capable to do a Darby finish on the surface.
• Capable to do the straight edges.
• Capable to use the vibrator.
• Capable to use the screed.
• Capable to finish steps and stairs.
• Capable to use and finish floors with walk behind.
• Capable to set laser and set the grade.
• Capable to do a broom finishing.
• Capable to finish floor with a power trowel (ride on).
• Capable to set up the grade in a slope slab.
• Capable to do a saw cut.
• Capable to do curbs and sidewalks.
• Capable to finish a slab without supervision
• Capable to finish a slab floor by themselves.
• Capable to identify the needs to finish a slab floor by themselves
• May operate hand and power tools of all types: i.e., air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, concrete saws, surveying and measuring equipment, small equipment and bobcat loaders.
• May assist other trader workers and take instructions.
• May position and secure steel bars or mesh in concrete forms to reinforce concrete.
• May use a variety of fasteners, rod-bending machines and hand tools.
• May load and unload truck

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Ability to read and understand construction plans is preferred
• Ability to understand and follow oral instructions; communicate with supervisors, co-workers and the public effectively.
• Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
• Able to comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Must have a strong work ethic.

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand, kneel, squat, bend, push, pull, climb, stretch, see, and hear regularly while performing
• Able to be alert and cognitive of multiple concurrent activities of the demolition site
• Coordination between hand, eyes, feet to guide tools, equipment and objects is required
• Able to walk and work on uneven terrain.
