OverviewMcGraw Hill is looking for someone who is both detail oriented and customer focused to join our team in the role of an Associate Account Manager to be based in our Taiwan Office. In this role, you are mainly responsible for, but not limited to, develop and serve the School and English Language Learning markets in assigned territory, support sales team to promote new products and achieve target.
As part of our PreK-12 business, you’ll be part of a team that creates robust digital tools, curriculum and learning solutions in a variety of formats that are used by millions of educators and students every day.
Your contribution to the team includes:
- Secure existing customers while increasing market share by developing new ones. Help with account management to ensure healthy business relations.
- Drive print, digital, and/or blended adoption on campuses.
- Maintain and expand McGraw Hill presence on campus to facilitate adoptions.
- Conduct product-related presentations.
- Gather necessary market information to enhance McGraw Hill solutions strategy
- Regular, consistent and timely use of Salesforce.com for prospect & customer data, activity recording, keeping sales records and pipeline tracking.
- Network with teachers and decision makers to promote McGraw Hill as a learning science company and attend conferences to show McGraw-Hill solutions and to network.
- Make scheduled calls on customers to ensure the McGraw Hill solutions satisfactorily meet their requirements and provide updates.
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 - 3 years of sales experience is desired but not essential.
- Fluent English in speaking, listening, reading and writing.
- An understanding of the Education business / Education System in Taiwan.
- The experience and confidence to cold call, on phone and face to face
- Ability to identify institution-wide and high $ value opportunities.
- Engaging presentation skills
- Passion for education
- Having teaching experience is a plus but not necessary.
