Asset Engineer

Location: Taiwan

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide planned and unplanned maintenance planning by coordinating among relevant persons, teams and authorities.
  • Organize cross-sectional meetings and follow up maintenance schedule, progress of works, spare parts delivery, backlog, safety concerns, maintenance highlight, and so on.
  • Create and compile the reports which need involvement of multiple divisions such as monthly report, annual reports, and so on.
  • Need to be familiar with CMMS and manage maintenance plans, outage plans, maintenance records, spare parts status, special tool status and so on.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report performance and availability.
  • Occasional offshore visits are required.
  • Key user of O&M software tools, manage master data and provide assistance around day-to-day software use.
  • Support performance analysis of assets
  • Standardise preventive maintenance schedules where possible.
  • Define the administration necessary to preserve maintenance history.
  • Assist colleagues in the monitoring and control of execution and administration of preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Promote full and correct administration of maintenance tasks.
  • Measure maintenance performance using KPIs and use analysis as steering tool for continuous improvement.
  • Identify new maintenance concepts and investigate their potential use.
  • Participate in lessons learnt and continuous improvement initiatives (RCA, FME(C)A).
  • Advise on inventory management and ensure adequate levels of the correct materials/parts kept in stock.
Qualifications And Experience Requirements
  • Knowledge of the wind industry is a plus but not essential as extensive training will be provided.
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal communication. Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, technical procedures, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an industrial environment or power plant
  • Degree in relevant Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or IT Engineering discipline is preferred
