The Role:

We are seeking a supply chain professional to provide the leadership necessary to the Manufacturing Operations and Planning Team through the development and execution of Factory Plans (Fab, A/T Output) for our supply chain. The role will be responsible for all factory sites, focusing on the detailed development of executable factory schedules, communicating those schedules to the site, coordinating with Mfg Operations during the execution of those schedules and adjusting & adapting plans to the actual performance of each facility. As the final planning element prior to execution this position has a critical role in ensuring that we “build the right stuff” - Right product at the right time for the right customer at the right cost.

Ampere is a growing and thriving company and creating executable factory plans is key to our revenue support and growth. We are looking for an energetic supply chain professional who can translate mid-range forecasts into executable plans for the Asia supply lines, and then work closely with Factory Operations to ensure that the material is produced (Right product, right time), adapt to any performance variances.

What You’ll Do:

  • Issue builds and move materials through the supply chain to meet delivery commitments to customers for SOC’s
  • Perform transactions in NetSuite and monitor successful processing of automated transactions
  • Manage the movement of materials between suppliers
  • Follow through with suppliers to ensure they meet their commitments & drive execution to maintain the build schedule
  • Proactively identify problems which impact on time delivery and escalate to supplier or Ampere management as appropriate
  • Release material from tested unmarked stock to complete skews into finished goods to fulfill customer demand
  • Perform modeling and analysis to optimize flow of material and develop build plans
  • Reconcile inventory with suppliers and manage process to disposition non-moving material
  • Ensure ERP system transactions for planning processes are executed flawlessly
  • Work hand in hand with the Planning System Architect to design processes and reporting for Factory Planning within the new Advanced Planning and Scheduling tools (APS)

What You’ll Bring:

  • Demonstrated experience dealing with Factory Scheduling / Master Scheduling functions. Detail orientation to support the scheduling function, with the ability to summarize the overall output and impact
  • English, Mandarin and Korean languages are all actively utilized so multilingual capability of any of these three is a benefit – although not required. (English being the predominant business language)
  • Experience working within semiconductor scheduling complexities (scheduling, down binning, cherry picking, customer screening), as well as experience executing the above within a subcontracted manufacturing structure
  • Hands on analytical capability using Excel and data systems in support of the creation of short-term planning analysis. Proficiency with Advance Excel usage (Pivot, VLOOKUP) and PowerBI development and analysis highly desirable
  • Experience working with Advanced Planning & Scheduling tools (APS) to support factory loading and output activities highly desirable
  • Ability to work independently with high level direction and within the business processes defined.
  • Ability to drive process & system improvement – identify weaknesses in current methodology and propose improvements that make the work for efficient and executable

Education:

  • BS Degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years in Supply Chain, Product Planning or related work experience, including managing direct reports
