Client Details

Global leader in development and manufacturing of high-tech materials for the semiconductor manufacturing, which is also the most important process of manufacturing semiconductor chips. Major clients are from largest high-tech companies all around the world and keep developing new high-quality products to serve the world.

Description

• Set up and improve current internal control procedures and systems according to the company business and operations
• Develop annual audit plan and reports based on the risks recognized
• Manage each audit projects so that they can be scheduled, implemented, and completed effectively and timely
• Conduct reviews of company’s business activities across all products, business units, and regions from the viewpoint of compliance, operational effectiveness and efficiency, and/or appropriateness of the financial reporting
• Provide the management with the audit report including practical and value-added recommendations to the issues identified and the action plans agreed with the responsible management
• Follow up the corrective actions
• Work on the ad hoc assignments from the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operation Officer
• Sync with the Audit and Supervisory Committee Members and the External Auditors to enhance effectiveness of each party’s audit activities
• Facilitate Company-wide risk assessment conducted by the department leads
• Participate in the executive meeting

Profile

• Experience in Big 4 as assurance team for at least 3 years
• For manager title: must with in-house internal auditor experience; for senior title is acceptable for big 4 experience only
• Strong knowledge and experience of internal audit, Understanding of company’s business processes, risks, and internal controls
• Fluent in English
• Ability to speak Japanese is a plus
• Knowing J-sox is a plus
• Working experiences from semiconductor industry is a plus
• Strong communication skill, including the ability to work with people in different functions and regions.
