Responsibilities And Qualifications

The Investment Banking Division Taiwan Advisory (Coverage) Team is looking for an Vice President to be based in Taipei. The Taiwan Advisory (Coverage) Team investment banking group provides corporate clients in Taiwan with advice, access to financing and execution expertise across a wide range of investment banking products. Our Taiwan Coverage Team provides advisory and financing services to the leading players in the sectors we cover. Our group offers a wide range of products, including M&A advisory, equity and debt financing, structured finance, risk management/hedging and co-investing.

Given the dynamic nature of our coverage scope, our group offers an exciting and fast-paced environment with tremendous opportunity to contribute and grow. Our bankers play an important role in developing and strengthening our client relationships, participating on our advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions.

Their responsibilities include creating and analyzing financial models, organizing and preparing client presentations, helping manage transaction processes, and assisting in structuring transactions. They will gain exposure to the firm’s businesses and expand their knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications and marketing skills.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a financial discipline
• Minimum 6 years’ investment banking or equivalent experience
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions
• Native Mandarin Chinese fluency required
