A new opportunity exists for a Human Resources Manager - Taiwan Office, reporting to the VP Human Resources (based in Sydney, Australia), and with matrix reporting line to Branch Manager (based Taiwan).
You will lead and direct the routine HRM functions for the Taiwan Shared Service Office, of 60+ employees that support our Australia-Asia region, focusing on recruiting, learning & development, workforce planning, performance management, talent management and enforcing company policies and practices.
This role will be instrumental in partnering with the Branch Manager to support growth plans and build out HR processes, practices, and programs that meet global and regional company policies and local legislative requirements.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Partner with management and provide support and guidance of all HRM practices.
  • Implementation of relevant labor laws and regulation of the local government and company policies and procedures.
  • Implement HRM policies and processes to ensure creation of an engaged workforce
  • Manages the talent acquisition process including recruitment, interviewing, assessment, and selection of qualified talent.
  • Deliver company-wide learning and development programs, and partner with managers to create individual development plans.
  • Oversee procedures relating to payroll and benefits and continue to improve to assure compliance and competitiveness.
  • Lead improvement projects including implementation of HR technology roadmap initiatives aligned with regional strategy.
Successful Requirements Include
  • University degree – business or HR related.
  • Minimum 5 years HR generalist working experience with strong recruiting and learning & development experience.
  • Strong HRM generalist knowledge with focus on recruiting, training and development.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws.
  • Strong consultation, presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong HRIS systems experience – SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
  • Global organisational experience or public listed company (ASX, NYSE, etc.).
