Job Overview

The job is an ideal position for someone who would like to act on different levels: to continue leverage your profound knowledge in Taiwan employment law and best practices in advising people leaders on all HR related topics. Key Responsibility

  • Act as a sparring partner; coaching and advice to business leaders to drive the overall people strategy
  • Provide a highly responsive HR support to a fast paced global and agile business
  • Implement HR priorities in the organization in line with global function and people strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or ensuring to provide new solutions where appropriate.
  • Ensure correct handling and drive the further development of workplace policies, procedures and practices in compliance with Employment legislation and regulations
  • Ensure communication and management of HR processes supporting the business cycle and strategy (Budgeting, Workforce Planning, Performance Management and Annual Compensation Review)
  • Lead the implementation of new HR processes supported by digital tools to enable the evolution of the department towards a more self-service organization together with Global HRIS team
  • Be the Change Agent and drive the culture change program from a high performing organizational and people perspective
  • Implement human capital and talent development plans, focus on talent retention and succession planning
  • Participate in global projects/initiatives/programs and work closely together with the Corporate HR team as appropriate
  • Part of the Culture Shaping Initiative as HR representative.

Skills and Qualification

  • At least 2-3 years solid experiences in HR Business Partnering
  • Bachelor / Master degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Broad experience in customer oriented, multinational business environment, preferably experience in both R&D and manufacturing settings
  • Profound knowledge of the Taiwan labor law and employment principles
  • Experience of partnering the senior management team and ensuring value add HR support to the business.
  • Strategic mindset paired with high sense for execution and teamwork
  • Ability to build trust and drive engagements in others in a culturally diverse, changing environment, willingness to go the ‘extra mile’
  • Accountable personality with a structured and pragmatic working style
  • Goal orientated with a positive mindset, and the ability to handle sensitive information
  • Ability to be a self-starter and developing things autonomously, using previous experience, institutionalizing processes without giving up entrepreneurship
  • Proficient user of HR databases/systems and fully conversant with MS Office suite, experience with PeopleSoft or SuccessFactors is considered a plus
  • Fluency in both English & Chinese
