Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with product design for consumer electronics (3D CAD, Tolerance Analysis, Design of experiment).
  • Experience in engineering (kinematics, Physics), electrical circuits and IC validation/bring-up.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of product design experience in consumer electronics products
  • Experience in electromagnetic and optical simulations
  • Experience in electromagnetic actuator design, characterizations and validations
  • Experience in design with haptics and/or audio technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for Haptics Validations, including the Hardware and the algorithms in Driver IC.
  • Drive haptic hardware development and integration for consumer electronics products from concept into production
  • Own key specifications and necessary documentation to support the haptic feature development and integration process
  • Manage vendors to ensure quality of technical deliverables
  • Drive cross-functional team collaborations and escalations to management/leadership
