About The Role

As the Global Financial Leader for Laminates business, you will provide both strategic and execution-focused financial leadership support to the Global Business Leader for Laminates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Integral member of Laminates leadership team
  • Provides financial leadership to meet business objectives and ensure timely, accurate and insightful analysis of business performance and forecast
  • Manages financial aspects of the annual PO Plan, Strategy Review and Execution Review preparation process and supports the Global Business Director in preparation for these reviews
  • Manages the monthly financial forecasting and reporting processes
  • Ensures appropriate financial support on complex business decisions
  • Ensures integrity of financial results
  • Ensures adherence to financial policies within the business, based on corporate guidelines and business strategies (including SOX compliance for business finance processes)
CRITICAL SKILL SETS:

  • Experience and expertise in business analysis, financial/decision modeling, financial systems and processes, and S&OP planning
  • Ability to articulate financial issues and impacts in the business context
  • Ability to set direction and gain alignment on complex decisions
  • Ability to motivate business and functional teams to achieve goals
  • Understanding of financial and internal control policies and standards
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Technical Field
  • A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Finance with solid business/financial acumens
  • Work experience in Business Finance, Accounting or other related diverse experiences
  • Strong analytical, decision support and influence/negotiation skills and the ability to assist the business team in defining and executing business plans and growth projects (e.g. ability to articulate financial issues and impacts in the business context)
  • Strong computer skills in software and mainframe applications; examples include but not limited to Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, BW and SAP
  • Excellent communication skills
