The Role
Role
Entegris is seeking a Tooling Engineer in Taiwan to develop tooling and molding capabilities and support blow molding and plastic injection productions. The role’s primary focus initially is to:

• Develop and maintain molding processes for blow molding and plastic injection.
• Create molding standard operating procedures (SOPs) and transfer knowledge and skills to technicians and operators.
• Work closely with EHS, equipment, manufacturing, facility, project, and operations teams.
• Lead key molding process improvement projects for both short and long production runs.
• Be flexible and adapt to fast-changing business and organizational needs.
  
  

In this role you will

• Receiving new molds, performing daily maintenance, and working with setup technicians until production begins
• Troubleshooting molding problems
• Building and maintaining molding spare parts
• Improving molding maintenance efficiency
• Fixing 2D molding damage using in-house lathe, mill, and grinder
• Coordinating outside resources to fix 3D molding damage
• Designing and maintaining fixtures for the molding process
• Fully supporting molding activities during Verification/Qualification
• Conducting local surveys of molding vendors
• Introducing new molding technologies.
  
  

Traits we believe make a strong candidate

• College degree or above in Mechanical, Mold&Die, Automation Engineering, or related fields
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in blow molding or plastic injection
• Proficiency in English communication with foreigners (TOEIC score of 700 or above)
• Familiarity with 2D or 3D software such as AutoCAD or Solidworks
• Possession of a Green Belt certification is a plus
• Experience in the semiconductor field is a plus.
