Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience in engineering related work in the manufacturing or consumer electronics industry
• Experience in manufacturing test and program management
  
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
• 8 years of experience in manufacturing test and program management
• Experience in hardware test debug, troubleshooting, Capital Expenditure (Capex) optimization, and failure analysis investigation
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and working with international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) partners to mass produce consumer electronics products
• Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese fluently to translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and plans
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, as needed

You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers

As a Test Technical Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of operations communication with cross-functional teams in the development of new products. You will guide a team to ensure products are designed and built with high standards

Responsibilities

• Manage factory test stations from conceptualization to sustaining. Be the point of contact for internal and external teams, manage overall test readiness, risks, and communication to cross-functional teams
• Develop test strategy and optimize the test processes across the entire production line
• Drive yield, retest, and test issues for test line
• Work with CMs on test related processes, test fixtures readiness, cycle time/units per hour, and line balance. Manage schedules and plan for all test engineering deliverables (e.g., data collection features/solutions, test framework software drops, fixture bring-up, fixture qualification, ongoing audits)
• Collaborate with suppliers and engineering teams in developing test coverage, including assessment of process flow, equipment/fixture designs, process controls, implementation schedules, and validation plans prior to any engineering build
