The Role
  • Able to communicate directly with the design team and product team; understand product specifications and product applications, production and manufacturing related requirements
  • Able to integrate relevant project engineering and technical data, such as DFM/DOE request/Qualification plan/ All other request
  • Understand product application methods, test results, coordinate inside and outside the organization when issue occur and solution tracking
  • With project management experience and ability, cross-departmental communication experience
  • With vehicle power train ECU design, development and production experience
  • Communicate various project details across departments, feedback requirements and implement them, and track progress
  • Responsible for presiding over meetings, leading various meetings and ensuring the smooth running of meetings
  • Actively communicate with the head office to understand the needs of the case and the overall plan, properly and promptly arrange resources for processing
  • Ability to communicate and integrate across R&D, engineering, GSM, SQE teams
  • Drive a culture of vibrant discourse and debate that drives to the optimal solution that may include utilizing existing modules, revising existing modules to upgrade the standard going forward, or fit-for-purpose solutions where the business case supports
  • Mentor and guide the organization to develop skills and competencies for program management and cross-functional collaboration to deliver enterprise goals and objectives
  • Strong time management skills; ability to prioritize competing requests
  • Highly collaborative; comfortable working with people in a matrixed environment
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to foster and support a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration and teamwork; able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues across all departments
  • Able to analyze data to guide strategic planning
  • Comfortable to give effective presentations to and facilitate meetings with all levels of the organization
  • Able to travel frequently and internationally
  • Complete the tasks assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications
  • Master’s in engineering preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive industry product design and development, program management, and/or manufacturing
  • 5+ years of experience in automotive power train relative position, motor / inverter, charger, DC to DC design and development.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the launch of multiple vehicles, preferably in multiple assembly plants
  • Experience as an engineer in automotive, aerospace or other relevant product area
