Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12 years of experience in Program/Project Management.
  • 3 years of experience in Android, Unix/Linux systems programming with C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  • Android software development and release experience.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in driving software engineering projects across multiple PAs and distributed sites, with competing resources and priorities.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and a complex environment.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a complex, always-changing environment
  • Effective organizational, stakeholder management, project management, data analysis, and communication skills.

You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As a Pixel Software Technical Program Manager, you’ll work cross-functionally to deliver the highest quality software for Pixel devices.

The Pixel Software Technical Program Management team is part of the Pixel Software organization. We manage the Software (SW) development for various functional areas, new technology introduction and overall Pixel SW. We work to deliver the highest quality SW for Pixel devices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate across disciplines to create plans and drive the development for various functional areas.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify, manage, track and control project risks to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Work with QA team to plan and oversee testing of new feature development or overall Pixel Software (SW). Define and drive process improvements for quality of Pixel SW and engineering productivity.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and manage development of automation tools/processes and exercise technical judgment to keep goals for programs, projects and products attainable within a given timeline.
  • Influence and manage the creation of new ideas, designs, architectures, and methods for feature development or problem solving.
