Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain, operations research, operations engineering, or other relevant fields, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in Design and Manufacturing in a new product introduction (NPI) role.
  • 4 years of experience with manufacturing, supply chain management, and/or fulfillment planning and execution.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or operations research.
  • Experience across all phases of a product from prototype to mass production to end of life.
  • Experience with supply/demand planning and accounting/finance.
  • Experience leading cross-functional process improvements, using excellent analytical, and communication/facilitation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization.
  • Ability to shift between detailed analysis and big picture thinking, and customizing communications based on the audience.

About The Job

As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing material plans to enable prototype builds and production ramp plans to be deployed to our global data centers. Product types include networking, infrastructure, and server and storage. You will work closely with engineering, supply chain operations, supply and demand planning, contract manufacturing, and supplier partners to launch new products and to implement processes and systems that directly scale new product deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage material and supply chain readiness for all NPI builds from concept phase to production transfer, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure a successful transfer.
  • Identify, communicate, and manage supply chain risks and mitigation plans to ensure materials readiness for NPI builds as well as supply continuity into production.
  • Be the primary materials liaison with original device manufacturers/contract manufacturers/suppliers, manage spend against project budgets, and manage large production risk buys and strategic buffers.
  • Develop and document global supply chain map for each product (e.g., suppliers, procurement model, lead time, shipment logistics, assembly/test/fulfillment model, and spares strategies.
  • Update project schedules, communicate status, risks, and influence change, and represent the NPI Supply Chain organization in internal program meetings, guiding initiatives and process improvements to help the team grow in scalability.
