Are you ready to help us on our mission to redefine city mobility? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Bill of Materials (BOM) Specialist to help redefine and coordinate our part number and BOM structure for our existing and future products. You’ll be based at our production headquarters in Taipei and work closely with our Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Sourcing teams to provide the numbering structure that overlays all of our products and parts.

We’ll expect you to take control of redefining a part number and BOM structure. You’ll consult with all the relevant stakeholders on how it could be implemented, and lead the setup discussion, and figure out the ideal setup for our system. You’ll also support spare part and service part procurement activities, including their BOM setup.

Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and is able to confidently push forward resolutions across all functional teams. We’re not only looking for a coordinator, but an influential team player.

What You’ll Do
  • You’ll work with Program Managers, and our Purchasing, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to make sure that the BOM has the correct structure, accuracy, and completeness in the PLM system.
  • You’ll become proficient in setting up new options and/or create rules in PLM system to support various build configurations with correct BOM content at program milestones.
  • You’ll work with our Engineering, Sourcing Procurement, Manufacturing, and Finance teams to resolve BOM-related issues.
  • You’l assist with purchasing and engineering as needed, and build and/or troubleshooting BOM costs.
  • You’ll develop SOP to create PN, BOMs, and issue E/C within the PLM system.
  • You’ll help define process flow on PN and BOM creation.
  • You’ll help integrate PLM with other ERP systems.
What You’ll Bring
  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field.
  • You have at least five years of experience with PLM tools and ERP processes.
  • You have at least five years of experience with BOM.
  • You have experience in the automotive and consumer electronics industry – bonus points for experience with PLM tools and processes.
  • You have proven experience managing complex stakeholder requirements.
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people across all teams and levels in VanMoof.
  • You have expert-level Excel skills – especially related to data compilation.
You can continuously adapt and prioritize constantly changing environment and business requirements.
