The Sr.Staff Engineer, FWwill be based in Taiwan Taipei Wugu Site. The Sr.Staff Engineer, FW performs the responsibility for system design in Power Supply Unit/Power Solution Projects request.

Here Is a Glimpse Of What You’ll Do

• The Firmware engineer will work on Linux based embedded systems and software/hardware integration with Wifi, Bluetooth, RFID peripherals and Cellular modules.
• Candidate will define and develop documentation for test validation, implementation method, test script and generate reports.
• Team player, work cross functionally with different teams to verify software meets system needs and requirements.
• Track and troubleshoot issues on test systems, actual systems and on ATE systems.
• Collaborate with design teams for issue clarification and verification.
  
  

Here is some of what you’ll need:

• 5+ years of solid engineering experience in embedded software development in Linux based systems with Wifi, Bluetooth, RFID parts and drivers.
• Experience with Linux OS/Unix-like operation, shell script creation/ modification and setup.
• Experience with Software development tools, debugging tools, test tools creation and diagnostics tools (e.g., c/c++, scripts, digital analyzer, python, BASH, etc.)
• Experience with Software Development processes including: source control, bug tracking, and design documentation.
• Experience in BSP (Board support package) creation/customization and Low level software programming.
• Good Problem solving and organizational skills
• written and verbal communications skills (in Mandarin and English) is required
• Can work beyond normal working hours as customer meetings will be in different time zones and be able to travel on business trips
