Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned PR & Community professional who is passionate about the PC Gaming
world to join us at NZXT APAC marketing team as the Sr. PR & Community Manager – APAC.
On the PR side, You will help derive APAC PR strategy, drive communication plans and be hands on,
engage with local journalists, and showcase our products and services, bring them to life through
stories that touches our users.
And on the Community side, you will lead and oversee our company’s community efforts across all of
Asia at the forefront, in which you will develop community strategies, plan and coordinate
community efforts, communicate the plans to those involved, build passionate fanbase and increase
affinity for our company & brands.

PR
  • Lead strategic communication process and build mutually beneficial relationships
    between NZXT and our publics. Propel NZXT’s image through consistent messaging
    and strategy.
  • Develop, drive, and evaluate key PR/media programs to engage customers, media
    personalities and internal company employees in support of business objectives.
  • Serve as the primary media contact in APAC’s key territories. Cultivate and maintain
    strong, lasting relationships with social and media influencers.
  • Manage and develop productive PR agency partnerships.
  • Work with HR partner to deliver internal communication messages when required.
  • Brief and set agency KPIs to achieve strategic goals.
  • Monitor agency performance and conduct review.
  • Conduct CSR programs when required.
  • Functional budget management.


  • Community Building
    • Build lasting, genuine, and impactful relationships with our fans.
    • Own and drive the short and long-term community strategy for each territory, translate strategy into plans of action, and set clear OKRs for the team.
    • Develop community activations that drive fan growth and engage existing ones to create a passionate fanbase.


    Social Media Communications
    • Foster engagement within our existing community and expand our reach into new gaming communities.
    • Help craft our narrative message, including messaging and social posts.


    Partnership (influencer/KOL/Streamer/Content Creators) Building
    • Develop partnership campaigns across streaming networks and content creator platforms.
    • Build, maintain meaningful relationships with partners who we share the same values.


    Leadership
    • Build and lead a team of talented PR & Community professionals with clarity and empathy, providing vision, being receptive to their needs, and always place user experience first.


    Other
    • Provide the voice of our users back into the business.
    • Work closely with the rest of the integrated marketing team to support key beats.
    • Support tours, event executions, live streams, trade show activations, partner promotions, and competitions as well as other opportunities to showcase our brand or products when required.


    Experience
    • 15+ years experience in PR/Community role for major consumer brands and/or entertainment franchises.
    • Experience working cross-functionally and project management.
    • Experience working in matrixed and global cross-functional organizations across time zones and languages.
    • Experience marketing PC-driven and/or gaming-driven products to diverse, APAC audiences is a plus.
    • Knowledge of basic and advanced principles of communicology, public relations, marketing, management, economics, business, and corporate communications.
    • Knowledge and understanding of communications practices, tools, and techniques in social media.
    • Proven strong presentation and communication skills.
    • Gamers are awesome!
    • Proactivity, self-motivation, and the ability to meet deadlines.
    • Creativity in developing relevant marketing content.
    • Highly developed project and time management skills.
