About Our Client

My client’s business was founded over 10 years ago in Taiwan and they have operations also in North America. With aggressive expansion plans, this is a newly created role seeking a strategic HR Head candidate to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources management.

You will provide leadership and guidance to the HR team while working closely with the executive leadership to ensure that people strategies support the company’s growth and success.

Job Description
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and programs that align with the company’s objectives, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, providing mentor ship, direction, and support in their day-to-day activities.
  • Drive talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment, on boarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent.
  • Talent development, OD, and expansion headcount planning.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and workforce planning to support business growth.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and ensuring a healthy work environment.
  • Develop and execute training and development programs to enhance employee skills and promote career growth.
  • Manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development plans.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and fairness.
  • Stay current with HR trends, best practices, and legal requirements to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an environment that values and celebrates individual differences.
The Successful Applicant

  • Must have been in a start up business, experience building a company from ground up.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
  • People person, but entrepreneurial mindset

This role will help expand the business to the next level, with many projects along the way. Talent mapping, Head count planning, and Organisational development will be a key.
