The Position Will Be Involved In Research Topics From Some Of The Following Areas

Microsoft’s vision is to democratize AI to enable every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. The Computer Vision team in the Microsoft AI R&D Center in Taiwan is a team of researchers and engineers working on algorithms, tools, and experiences around practical applications of computer vision that powers Windows, Azure, and more. We are looking for an experienced research software developer to help solve challenging and practical research problems we encounter while building our products and services.

• Computer vision and machine learning
• Face recognition and anti-spoofing
• Face image and video synthesis
• Deep learning for image synthesis
  

We are looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals who are passionate developing practical solutions to computer vision problems. This job requires a broad set of research and software development skills.

Responsibilities

As a team member of our team, you will participate in developing innovative solutions across AI Platform. Responsibilities include the following.

• Design, implement and integrate proof of concepts for developing computer vision systems
• Prototype different ideas for computer vision R&D to generate high quality results
• Research new ideas in computer vision, find insights to support business decisions and publish high impact papers
  

Apply machine learning techniques to solve challenging computer vision problems

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years programming experience with C++/Java/C#/Python or equivalent
• graduated with a Master or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent
• Solid understanding of CS fundamentals and mastery of data analysis
• 3+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Speech Recognition, or equivalent
• Excellent communication, problem solving and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and ramp-up to new areas quickly
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with deep learning, computer vision, and computer graphics
• Research publications in top conferences/journals, like CVPR, EECV, ICCV, ICML, etc.
• Experience with deep learning platforms, such as PyTorch
  

Good English level
