Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in one or more of the following languages: Java, Kotlin, C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with Development Wireless Connectivity: Wireless Communications, Bluetooth Low Energy, Wi-Fi Protocols, specifically with distance measurement technologies as Wi-Fi ranging, WiFi Aware, NAN, 802.11mc, 802.11az, Bluetooth HADM/Channel Sounding, UWB.
• Android mobile development experience: such as Wireless Application Protocol, Application-Level Frameworks.

The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

Responsibilities

• Manage feature development life cycle, such as development, integration/porting, testing, debugging, and optimization for user experiences based on wireless proximity technologies on Pixel devices.
• Work with Android devices and development boards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the success of cross device authentication features and functionality, whether it be supporting development of a new feature or integrating a team’s existing work to benefit users of our devices.
• Ensure code is covered by unit, integration, and qualification tests across Pixel devices eco-system.
