Our sourcing team’s mission is to optimize supply chain of Vanmoof by selecting the best partners based on matrix of cost, quality, service, and delivery capabilities. We believe in top innovation combined with high automation manufacturing process that give rise to the perfect product with efficient output. We are a team of 4 elite members sourcing across Asia, EU, and US based suppliers and are looking for our next colleague.

As our Senior Sourcing Specialist, you’ll assemble and drive an army of top-notch suppliers to provide world class service supporting Vanmoof’s epic innovation needs. You will be reporting directly to the head of sourcing. Our ideal candidate has experience in scaling up supply chain and driving cost reduction at optimal level.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement initiatives which will optimize the cost structure of Vanmoof products
• Build rapport and align Vanmoof goals with assigned suppliers
• Serve as the center of knowledge for assigned category and share market trend, technology roadmap, and cost analysis report with key stakeholders as requested
• Negotiate cost-price and contract to favor Vanmoof
• Closely follow up to product development schedule and provide strategic material preparation when needed
• Fulfill sourcing request in meeting engineering specs requirement on a variety of projects in timely manner
  

What You’ll Bring

• At least 5+ years’ experience in sourcing or manufacturing related field. Preferably within fast-paced companies focused on R&D / Production
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding in ME parts
• Business fluency/native command of English and Mandarin.
• You currently live in Taiwan
