Reporting To: Managing Partners

Location: Xindian, New Taipei City

As such we have gained a reputation for accepting and delivering difficult B2B projects that other firms are scared to take on.

Suntek Global is recognized internationally for the bespoke products we produce and we work with well-known brands in North America and Europe. With a packed order book and forecasted expansion, we are looking for a Senior Program Manager to build out the program management department at Suntek. You will be a central pillar to our business and your work will be essential for delivering our growth plans over the coming 5 years.

You will work closely with the Partners, Software, Design and Engineering functions as well as ODMs/OEMs to ensure high-quality products are built, tested, and released on time. You will be responsible for bringing key products to market in both the electronic and medical device arenas. You will also be responsible for recruiting members into your department as well as leading a cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure the team delivers the products to our customers that support the right feature set, quality and user experience, on time and within budget.
  • To interface between vendors and cross-functional teams to drive builds and manage project schedules, budgets, and performance.
  • To manage multiple programs in parallel.
  • To develop Lifecycle deliverable documentation, track progress, reports status, and make necessary corrections to achieve program objectives.
  • To manage and accurately archive all Phase related documentation relating to their programs.
  • To ensure Program Management support systems maintain Suntek’s ISO Corporate Compliance standing.
  • To work with core product design team and executive leadership to establish Business, Quality, and Customer Experience goals for the program.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5-10 years of related experience in product development processes, product/solution areas, and customer needs and usage
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams to define the product/solution definition and requirements
  • Capability to clearly communicate technical matters and build relationships with decision-makers
  • Working experience of MS Project, Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Working experience of New Product Introduction (NPI) into manufacturing facilities. Ability to create such items as SOPs, Control Plans, IQC procedures, OQC procedures, Simple SPC and AQL techniques.

Additional Desired Skills

  • Experienced in the management and implementation of a Quality Management System (QMS), ideally ISO9001:2015.
  • Knowledge of Risk Management methodologies such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
  • Working knowledge of a Windows-based MRP/ ERP system such as SAP or SAGE.
  • Practical and hands-on experience within a workshop and manufacturing environment, to a Technician level.
