  • Job Description
  • Manage/maintain CMs/customers to ensure the quality of Indium Phosphide Edge Emitter Laser (InP EEL) product line.
  • Work closely with R&D team to support new product introduction as well as transition from NPI to high-volume production environment on InP EEL product line.
  • Perform statistical data analysis and trouble shoot potential root causes for yield issue/excursion in foundries.
  • Support daily production like solving issues in real-time, as well as becoming the first-line defend in leading the analysis of failures in fab production line.
  • Work closely with optical sub-assembly and module team to address testing/correlation issues at contract manufacturer and vendors that could be related to chip performance.
Required Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in InP or GaAs EEL / VCSEL / LED related device design, process development and characterization is required.
  • MS degree in electrical engineering, material science, physics, or other relevant major. PhD degree is highly preferred. Fresh PhD graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong program management skill.
  • Strong communication skills (both English/Mandarin); able to hosting effective meetings and facilitating actions and resolving conflicts.
  • Experience with semiconductor fab process (frontend or backend).
  • Strong ability to drive actions and solutions through cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with process and characterization of optoelectronic device such as InP EEL Laser.
  • Strong statistical data analysis skills (JMP or Minitab etc.).
  • Familiarity with semiconductor wafer fab operations (Manufacturing Execution System, process & quality control, change management etc.) in a high-volume manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience with optoelectronic device reliability testing and modeling is a plus.
