KLA is a global leader in process control and is now looking for a Senior HR Specialist in Taiwan!

In this role, you will be working with KLA’s HR professionals to fuel the culture of collaboration and team work in a global environment. You will help perform a wide range of human resources functions including total rewards, talent development, labor relations, compliance and data analytics.

  • Propose and evaluate salary and compensation package offers based on organizational and occupational information including duties, responsibilities, and skills and working with hiring managers.
  • Administers payroll, tax issues, annual tax filing management and benefit plans.
  • Partner with the HR team on terminations/hiring, process exceeding target of updating personnel system, HRIS data maintenance and documentation compliance.
  • Maintain and update compensation databases and job description websites. Consult with HR system analysts regarding problems with programming and data integrity and make recommendations for system enhancements.
  • Conduct HRIS audit and quality assurance to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
  • Conduct, analyze, and benchmark annual total rewards review processes and market surveys.
  • Gather data from market-based compensation surveys and use data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
  • Provide the documentation of employee profiles and maintenance of employee files and records.
  • Prepare and update employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
  • Ensure the completion and process of new employees’ documents.
  • Maintain HR records in compliance with the law and monitor HR data accuracy in HR system.
  • Conduct HR process/operation/documentation to meet company/government compliance requirements.
  • Education & Experience

    1. BA or MA in Labor Relations, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, Economics, or relevant field.

    2. 5-8 years experience in HR functions in recruitment, learning & development, labor relations, compensation & benefits.

    Key Qualifications

    1. Data-driven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand and market trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.

    2. Comprehensive and practical knowledge in the Labor Standard Acts and Immigration-related regulations about global mobility and the ability to provide recommendations and guidance.

    3. Effective communication skills in writing and verbally both in English and Mandarin.

    4. Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Workday, Peoplesoft systems, HRIS and analytics software including Power BI.

    5. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in salary structure and development, benefits and compensation, and surveys/benchmarking (Towers Watson GGS and/or Mercer IPE).

    6. Comfortable and flexible with pressure, tight deadlines, constraints, ambiguity and being a part of deeply complex strategy discussions.

    7. Working knowledge in merge and acquisition execution and cultural integration is a plus.
