The Opportunity:

The Project Manager will play a hands-on role in managing the development, implementation, and administration of Agoda’s core financial systems and applications. You will be responsible for streamlining/improving existing processes and systems within the Finance organization. You will have the opportunity to propose ideas and implement plans that are robust and scalable, aligned with the strategic goals of the company. Key to this will be the active collaboration with stakeholders within Finance (process owners, key users) and outside of Finance (Product and IT teams).

Additionally, this position requires extensive experience working with Oracle Cloud Fusion and a high degree of attention to detail, the ability to plan, execute and manage work independently in a fast-paced environment.

In this Role, you’ll get to:
  • Drive project prioritization and delivery to ensure that business KPIs and milestones are met
  • Participate in sprint grooming, planning, review, and phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation
  • Understand strategic goals and trajectory of the business and ensure that systems keep ahead of business requirements
  • Innovate around existing finance operations processes such as reconciliation, invoicing, payments
  • Analyze existing processes and initiate improvements using new technology and innovations such as RPA
  • Actively monitor the existing Oracle Cloud Fusion processes to make sure it operates efficiently without any issues or major impacts to the business and financial closure
  • Update and implement user security within Oracle Cloud Fusion, ensuring compliance with data security policies and maintenance including review of end-user accounts, permissions, workflow, and access rights
  • Create and maintain accurate and up to date process documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures, design documents, migration forms
  • Manage all Service Requests (SRs) related to Oracle Cloud Fusion operations to complete the tasks and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Function as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for all issues and requests related to Oracle ERP Cloud
  • Manage and mentor junior team members
  • Due to the growth plans of the company, the role may evolve over-time. The candidate will have to be flexible to new challenges and responsibilities
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, Finance, Accounting or related discipline; or an MBA
  • Minimum 6 years experience in Consulting or Project Management
  • Hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP implementation or operation supports
  • In-depth knowledge/experience managing finance operations and accounting processes
  • Proficient in agile methodology, preferably having worked as a scrum master
  • Ability to independently drive work forward and navigate in an ambiguous environment
  • Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a dynamic work environment
  • Flexibility to handle directional changes and ability to support multiple deadline specific projects while maintaining day-to-day business support
  • Experience presenting to, and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Solid interpersonal skills – ability to interact within a multi-disciplined finance organization/ and with other relevant stakeholders
  • Fluency in English is a must. Fluency in Thai is an advantage
