Job Overview

Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis on SHL TW product costs to support business decision-making. You will play a key role in checking product costs accuracy, verifying the postings from system and analyzing/forecasting cost variances.

On top of that, you are required to perform ad hoc analysis to assist management in identifying new business opportunities, implementing improvement schemes for process and procedures optimization within the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understand in depth Corporate SAP cost module and maintain most updated and accurate cost information.
  • Manage Cost Centers, in relationship with work center, function area and assessment cycle set up based on existing business operation.
  • Prepare manufacturing budget plan and till the final issuance of new standard cost. Job also covers off budget cycle manufacturing activity rate calculation and update to SAP.
  • Check material movement and review scrap to assure proper inventory transaction and accurate inventory status.
  • Review department expense and production order status. Manage cross charge and allocation rule and their cost impact to ready for month end manufacturing cost calculation.
  • Involve in Costing month end closing process and fully understand the operation need. The end goal could be able to exercise the closing independently.
  • Provide manufacturing variance report and communicate root cause and further support on improvement opportunity.
  • Provide analysis report, includes but not limit to scrap, slow moving, rework and abnormal cost follow up.
  • Provide real time support to internal request regarding manufacturing activity analysis and suggestion.
  • Incorporate with CPA audit and other ad hoc projects or finance requests, i.e. provision.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance or Accounting related filed with over 5 years working experience
  • Experienced in Cost Accounting and analysis skills are required
  • Familiar with ERP system, preferred in SAP and CO module management
