Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced APAC Business Development Manager to drive our expansion and growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base in the APAC market. Reporting directly to the President, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our regional business development strategies.

Major Job Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

A. Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential business opportunities within the APAC region.

B. Analyze customer needs, preferences, and pain points to tailor business development strategies accordingly.

2. Partner Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with key stakeholders, distributors, and strategic alliances to enhance market presence and reach.

3. Sales and Lead Generation:

A. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients through effective lead generation activities, including networking, industry events, and targeted outreach.

B. Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into successful business deals, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company capabilities.

4. Financial Analysis and Reporting:

A. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, providing regular reports to the COO and senior management.

B. Assess the financial viability of potential business opportunities and partnerships, considering factors such as market potential, ROI, and risk assessment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or above degree in Business, or related field; major in Electronic /Electrical/Mechanical Engineering will be a plus.
  • 10 years+ experience in Sales or BD of APAC IPC industrial solutions.
  • Excellent communication in both Chinese and English and interpersonal skills; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region as required.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand complex industrial products and solutions.
  • Knowledge of APAC Market: Familiarity with the APAC region (Japan, Korea, Southeast Asia, India, Australia, and New Zealand) markets, including an understanding of local business practices, cultural nuances, and customer preferences.
  • Work cooperatively in a team, and also ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet sales targets.
