The CAPRES & MicroSense (CAMS) business unit in KLA has substantial growth potential and KLA’s Corporate Sales and Business Development team is looking for an effective and motivated Business Development Director to develop and drive the business of CAMS’ products in Asia.
The role reports directly to VP of Corporate Sales and Business Development with a dotted line to CAMS BU GM. The position is based in Taiwan and includes travel in Asia, Europe and USA.
Areas of responsibility:
- Assist BU GM in periodical reporting of CAMS’ sales performance
- Development of sales strategies that meet CAMS business objectives
- Accurate forecasting of bookings of CAMS products
- Definition of penetration, share and adoption (PSA) goals for CAMS products
- Drive sales and carry out necessary planning and coordination of activities in order to meet forecasted bookings and PSA goals
- Structure and negotiate business deals that meet customers’ and CAMS’ business objectives
- Alignment of CAMS’ technical roadmaps with customers’ metrology requirements in cooperation with R&D and technical marketing teams
- Participation in pricing of CAMS products
- Personnel management of direct report
Qualifications:
- Min. 8-10 years’ experience with technical sales and marketing of process and/or metrology tools in Semiconductor Industry or similar experience.
- Experience in developing, communicating and implementing sales strategies to meet/exceed business objectives
- Experience with technical marketing and sales to global customers
- Capability to analyze the semiconductor business environment and forecast business opportunities accurately short- and long term
- Financial and business savvy with experience in pricing and managing and reporting sales performance
- Aptitude to navigate through complex and dynamic selling environment
- High analytical skills and a strong negotiator with ability to resolve conflict and implement solutions in multicultural and international environments
- Minimum education level BS degree, engineering/technical background preferred
- International travel may be required anywhere from 25 to 50% as determined by business needs (COVID exceptions)
