Objectives

  • Is business-oriented and will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. S/he must be thoughful and strategic thinking for new product service that comply with OEM customer specification and requirement (CSR) in automotive business development.
  • Requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
  • Familiar with regulatory standards and market requirements vary across countries.
  • Summarize as the ideas, initiatives, and activities that help make a business better. This includes increasing revenues, growth in terms of business expansion, increasing profitability, successful and sound new business models by building strategic partnerships and making strategic business decisions.
  • Be sensitive and be aware of new market opportunities, possibilities for expansion, competitor developments, and the current sources of the company’s revenue

Primary Responsibilities

  • Works out and develops product strategies of which must confirm with partners to reach a consensus on strategies in order to achieve goals. Create new and/or existing customer portfolios for product design quality engineering and management to ensure product quality meets customer expectations. Provide quality verification services or solutions for different customers, so that product design quality meets customer expectations.
  • Coordinating staff and internal resources that should efficiently allocate resource
  • Facilitates the definition of product scope, schedule, goals, and deliverables
  • Develop full scale product development
  • Define product design and development quality engineering solution and service scope that can meet customer expected product design quality. All product design quality engineering, product service, project management, and improvement must be deliverable.
  • Product development progress control, resource coordination and planning, ASPICE counseling RFI/RFP/RFQ analysis, compilation, coordination and response
  • Build strategic relationships and partnership with automotive key players such as OEM, T1, T2
  • Manage project resource allocation, assemble and coordinate technical team to implement project plan
  • Create technical profile for component, module and system with stakeholders
  • Securing growth opportunities and initiating new projects

Specific Responsibilities

  • Define product design and development quality engineering solution and service scope that can meet customer expected product design quality. All product design quality engineering, product service, project management, and improvement must be deliverable.
  • Proactively create project plan, schedule, execute, problem-solving, and manage customer’s product design and develop for serviceable solutions and to deploy a project timeline.
  • Strategically respond to customer’s RFI/RFP/RFQ and to provide product design and develop quality engineering for dynamic reliability validation solution and or service to satisfy customer expectation and fulfill automotive business development goals.
  • Supervise all projects and report on progress of the projects to management team
  • Identify any business opportunities in customer’s product quality engineering sector and propose any possible business cases to management team.

Required Skills

  • Must have fluently English ability to communicate with orversea customers
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, consultants and clients; high commercial acumen and a record of confidence dealing within a matrix organization
  • Open minded communication and excellent leadership capabilities; ability to coordinate, lead and motivate teams towards common goals.
  • Project management professional certificated (PMP)
  • Ability to translate full scale project plan into pragmatic action plans and to execute on a timely basis.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, and performance driven.
  • Ability to work independently and to coordinate several complex activities simultaneously
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and change/ conflict management skills
  • React quickly and decisively; able to make tough calls
  • Perform well under pressure
  • Apply judgment and acts according to the SGS standards of ethics and integrity

Other Information

  • Able to lead team with senior managerial skill
  • International travel is required, sometimes at short notice
