DescriptionThe RoleOur Operation Engineer/Manager will task management Ampere manufacturing activities at local key contracted partners.What You Will DoAs the key local liaison, work face to face with factory teams to make progress and move tasks that centers around, but not limited to, production execution. Internally, work closely with all manufacturing supporting teams, including planning, engineering, inventory, logistic, quality teams to assure the deliverables of manufacturing KPIs, as well as supporting implementation of business processes for Ampere’s HVM scaling needs both in volume and product portfolio complexity.Lead a team to deliver the following:

• Local champion of Ampere critical tasks at contracted manufacturing partner factories.
• Manage priorities and ensure focus of factory support teams shall there be conflict or confusion.
• Support peer team on critical deliverables and ensure factory ‘s on time and high-quality collaboration. This including but not limited to NPI, capacity preparation, supply goal hitting, return process.
• Support peer team on in person activities, e.g., quality audits and inventory audits, when in person support is required.
• Support implementation and update of Ampere systems and processes with factory to capture best practice, ensure efficiency and work quality of repeating procedures.
• Support implementation of processes that are not only working today, but also suitable for Ampere ‘s next HVM scaling goal.
• Owns local relationship with factory team and manages local escalation when needed.

What You Will BringMinimum:

• 5+ year of experience in semiconductor HVM
• BS degree in engineering, including IE, EE or CE.
• Ability to work with cross-functioning teams, including but not limited to planning, sourcing, quality, logistics, R&D and sustaining engineering.
• Fluently speak/read/write English and Mandarin.
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally.

Preferred:

• 8+ years of experience in semiconductor HVM.
• Direct experience in Foundry and OSAT factory, or Fab/WLCSP/Assembly/Test/Product/Manufacturing OP engineering experience in chip design company.
• Experience in serving demands for tier one end customers in semiconductor industry.
• Fluently speak/read/write Korean.
