Apply today!As a field application engineer for Empower Semiconductor you will be a technical solution and co-design liaison between Empower Semiconductor and our customers. You will use your creativity and knack for problem solving to link issues and opportunities between the internal solution(s), product experts, and the customer. You will work in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, along with our customer’s design personnel on a project by project basis, all of which with critical implications for our business. This role is based in Taipei, Taiwan to maintain close contact with customers; providing application-specific expertise. In addition, you will provide technical training to field sales organizations including sales agents and distributors, creating application notes and examples based on market needs and opportunities. In short, you will have a critical role in the development and refinement of our product and business.You Bring To The Table

• 10+ years of experience as a Field Applications Engineer or similar role
• Experience collaborating with engineering and sales
• Strong knowledge in power management and networking communication products
• Clear understanding of market trends, applications, systems and products
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and in writing, in both English and Mandarin Chinese
• Ability to develop long term relationships with strategic customers based on trust, loyalty, expertise and professionalism
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to focus on details in a distracting environment
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields
• Master’s degree is a plus
