General Summary

• Analyze customer requirements, design intuitive and user centered solutions, and create prototypes
• Implement data visualization design in power BI, leveraging both native and custom visual
• Design and build intuitive UI in power BI, leveraging OOB features and embedded services
  
  

Minimum Qualification

• B.S. in design / HCI (human computer interaction) / computer science / electrical engineering
• UI design portfolio
• 5 years of UI/UX design experience
• 3 years of working HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript development experience
• 1 year of power bi development experience
• Knowledge of Adobe range of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and Dreamweaver
  
  

Preferred Qualification

• M.S. in design / HCI / computer science / electrical engineering
• 10 years of UI/UX design experience
• 5 years of working HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript/Python development experience
• 5 years of power BI development experience, specialized in embedded service and custom visual development
• 1 year of databases, querying (SQL), and data modeling experience
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Frequently transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
• Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 5 lbs.
• Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
• Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
• Continuous communication which includes the comprehension of information with colleagues, customers, and vendors both in person and remotely."
