Postdoctoral Positions in theoretical particle, astroparticle, nuclear physics, and cosmology

The Medium and High-energy Physics Theory Group in the Institute of Physics, Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan ( http://www.phys.sinica.edu.tw/~heptheory/ ) invites applications for several post-doctoral positions beginning Spring or Fall 2022.

The group covers all major theoretical research areas of nuclear, particle, astroparticle physics, and cosmology. In particular, there are active theory programs on heavy flavor physics and CP-violation, perturbative QCD, relativistic kinetic theory and fluid dynamics, heavy ion collisions, cosmic rays, neutrino astrophysics, nuclear astrophysics, beyond the Standard Model phenomenology, early Universe, and gravitational waves. Successful candidates will be expected to work closely with research fellows of the group, including Anatoli Fedynitch, Hsiang-nan Li, Sai-Ping Li, Kin-Wang Ng, Meng-Ru Wu, Di-Lun Yang, and Tzu-Chiang Yuan. Collaboration with other faculty members in the Institute of Physics, or in other local institutes, including the NCTS (Taipei, Taiwan), ASIAA (Taipei, Taiwan), and other international institutes with overlapping or complementary interests are encouraged. The available positions are for 2+1 or 1+1 years and may be extended, subject to performance and available funding. The commencement date can be flexible and applicants are expected to have their PhD degree in physics or astrophysics by the commencement date.
