Job Summary

The Platform Manager of Human Resources Applications will collaborate with IT professionals, Human Resources teams, as well as key cross-functional stakeholders to understand STOBG’s enterprise-wide Human Resources (HR) data, business processes and applications to support their business goals and objectives.

In partnership with HR, the Platform Manager of Human Resources Applications will assess HR’s business needs and identify, evaluate, and deliver software solutions. This position will play a key role in application software implementation, from requirements to configuration, data alignment and conversion, testing, implementation, system integrations, reporting/analytics, and documentation. Post implementation, this role will have primary responsibility for ongoing application support and maintenance of enterprise HR applications and solutions, including security, system administration, release management and software upgrades, data management and alignment, data feeds and interfaces, as well as strategic enhancements to continuously innovate, automate, enhance, and support evolving business processes in a growing organization.

The business applications within the scope of this role include but are not limited to Human Capital Management, Applicant Tracking, Performance Management, Compensation, Employee Benefits.

Responsibilities

The Platform Manager, Human Resources Applications, will have the following responsibilities:
  • Manage STOBG’s Human Resources applications platforms to meet immediate and long-term technical, functional, and business intelligence needs in line with enterprise-wide strategic goals and objectives
  • Overall responsibility for maintenance and support of all enterprise Human Resources software applications and platforms including system administration and security, data integrity and confidentiality, upgrades, integrations, automation, and system performance
  • Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure strong understanding of HR-related business processes; identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and enhancements to advance business goals, meet new requirements, and improve the user experience
  • In partnership with HRIS, HR, Finance, and IT teams, play a key role in the implementation of new HR-related software applications/solutions/functionality and integrations: identification and documentation/mapping of business requirements, application configuration, analyzing and converting data, data integrity and alignment, system security, testing, issue tracking and resolution, documentation and training materials, post-implementation support and maintenance
  • Understand HR related data and data structures; assist with reporting, data analytics, data extraction
  • Management of releases, upgrades, patches, testing, documentation, training materials; includes coordination of business team subject matter experts for testing as well as issue tracking, troubleshooting, resolution, escalation, and overall project management
  • Software vendor management and relationships
Qualifications

As Platform Manager, Human Resource Applications, you should have the following education, experience, and skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, HRIS, Business Administration, IT/IS, MIS, or related field
  • 5+ year’s experience implementing and managing medium to large scale HR systems, such as HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Applicant Tracking, Learning and Development, Time Collection, ERP, Payroll.
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting, and project management skills
  • Experience deploying and supporting mobile applications
  • Human Resources functional business knowledge and experience; knowledge of data privacy issues, laws, and regulations
  • Experience working with databases and database reporting tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to express ideas and share knowledge with technical and non-technical teams, including Executives
  • Problem-solving, client-focused, innovative team-player who establishes positive working partnerships with internal IT groups and business teams to deliver solutions
