People & Culture Ethics & Compliance Partner, Asia Pacific Region

Position Overview

Logitech is seeking a People & Culture (P&C) Ethics and Compliance Partner who will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization upholds the highest standards of ethics and compliance with local employment legislation in Asia Pacific. Reporting to the Lead Ethics & Compliance Partner, this individual will be responsible for conducting investigations, providing guidance on HR ethics-related matters, and collaborating closely with the legal team to navigate complex compliance issues. This role will have the opportunity to make an impact on shaping the ethical culture of the organization and ensuring compliance with local employment legislation in Asia Pacific.

Location:

  • Hsinchu, Taiwan preferred.
  • We are open to and support a hybrid work environment for candidates located in Taipei or Taichung, with partial in-office presence at Logitech offices in Hsinchu.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Ethics Investigations: Proactively and impartially investigating any reported concerns, complaints, or allegations related to ethical violations or inappropriate conduct. This includes but is not limited to issues concerning harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other P&C-related matters.
  • Compliance Management: Staying abreast of local employment laws and regulations to ensure our P&C practices and policies align with legal requirements. Defining governance & framework around policy/legal documents for P&C (ownership, schedule & workflows), developing and implementing policies and procedures to foster compliance.
  • P&C Ethics Training: Collaborating with the People & Culture team to develop and deliver effective training programs on ethics, compliance, and best practices to employees and managers.
  • Legal Liaison: Working closely with the legal team to seek guidance on complex P&C ethics and compliance matters. Coordinating efforts to address any legal inquiries, audits, or investigations.
  • Policy Development: Assisting in the development, review, and enhancement of P&C policies and guidelines to ensure they align with the organization’s values, ethical principles, and local regulations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation of all investigations, findings, and actions taken to address P&C ethics and compliance matters.
  • Advisory Role: Providing guidance and recommendations to management and HR partners regarding ethics-related concerns, potential risks, and appropriate resolution strategies.
  • Monitoring and Auditing: Conducting periodic audits and reviews of P&C processes to identify potential compliance gaps or areas for improvement and taking appropriate corrective actions.
  • Employee Support: Supporting employees who come forward with concerns by providing a safe and confidential environment to discuss their experiences and guiding them through the appropriate channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Relevant HR experience with 3 years of specific experience in HR ethics, compliance, investigations, or a related role, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of local employment legislation and regulations in Asia Pacific.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting P&C investigations with a focus on confidentiality, objectivity, and thoroughness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Excellence in investigative report writing with the ability to effectively document and communicate the findings of an investigation in an objective, clear, concise, and organized manner.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with P&C, legal, and other departments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ethical judgment, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity.
  • Familiarity with HR technology and tools for data management, reporting, and communication.
