• Supporting with review and negotiation of basic and template agreements, such as NDAs, as well as supporting contract document preparation and management, collection of signatures for approved contracts, ensuring that necessary compliance checks have been performed on counterparties prior to contract execution and supporting the maintenance of internal document management databases and systems.
• Assisting in the preliminary draft of basic legal documents and certain legal translation and proofread as needed.
• Conducting legal research to support the wider Offshore Wind legal team, identifying key industry developments and changes in law that would affect the business and providing internal updates to the wider Offshore Wind legal team with a focus on Taiwan
• Identifying legal training opportunities for both the legal team and the wider business and supporting the preparation and coordination of such training
• Coordinating with lawyers from the Offshore Wind legal team to ensure standardized legal processes and a consistent global approach within the Offshore Wind and wider legal team.
• Assisting with any litigation filings that may arise
• Helping to schedule and plan legal team meetings and events as well as the meeting with external counsels
• Generally participating as an active member of the legal team, supporting teammates and workflow as needs arise, in order to facilitate the growth and success of our clients offshore wind portfolio
• General administrative matters support such as facilitating the legal PO/PR process, legal budget and payment matters and communicating with external law firm for billing matters etc.
• Other tasks instructed by the line manager/function manager
  

• Close alignment and cooperation with the legal team members, primarily those based in Taiwan, but also colleagues in other locations around the globe
• Alignment with the business partners that the Legal Department supports across multiple internal departments
• Demonstrated ability to apply a practical rather than theoretical focus to legal issues with a view to finding viable business solutions
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Team player but can conduct the works independently. Has capability to find the problems proactively and propose the solutions
• Excellent skill in communication and coordination with different functions or stakeholders.
• Good command in English and Chinese. Working level of English proficiency in reading and writing is a must.
• Law degree or equivalent qualification and preferably previous experience in providing paralegal support with a focus on the renewable energy industry, ideally including experience with the Offshore Wind industry, as well as a familiarity with commercial contracts and court documents
• Experience with document management and invoice/billing management systems
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, judgment, enthusiasm and interpersonal skills together with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced international and multicultural environment
• Outstanding understanding of the economic interrelationships of, and ability to develop solutions in, international and interdisciplinary large-scale projects of very high complexity
• Personal drive, willingness to take initiative and high level of commitment
