Job Overview

Development & Engineering - Metrology (DEMT) has multiple metrology labs which are equipped with high performance 2D optical measuring machines and 3D computed-tomography x-ray, where a number of measuring methodologies are employed, including 3D x-ray, image, contact and laser measurements. DEMT can inspect product components and equipment parts precisely. Metrology lab focuses primarily on the measurement of plastic component. During tooling process, the lab is responsible for the measurement of injection components and confirms the results. During the Tool Validation process, DEMT also need to measure all the dimension of the components.

Main Responsibilities

• Best practice measurement methods for mass production.
• Data cloud (3D) measurement & dimensional analysis of multi-material assemblies.
• Comparison/correlation study among different measurement principles, such as optical, laser, and CT sensors.

Required Skills & Qualification

• Student in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
• Engineering background in Mechanical
• Familiar with SolidWorks, AutoCad, GOM Inspect, Minitab and Microsoft Office
• Strong intercultural and interdisciplinary communication skills in English (spoken/written)
• Goal-oriented working attitude to comply with a highly regulated industrial environment
• Internship duration: At least 5 months
