Marketing Specialist - Content Writer

We are currently looking for a talented Content Writer to join our team to bring this innovative solution to the world. This position requires a high level of creativity, as well as the ability to use data-driven insights to write better material. You will deliver high quality writing pieces that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Compose clear, concise, and engaging content for all mediums such as websites, email, social media, video, press release, educational articles and technical white papers.

2. Understand our buying audience and create content that addresses their needs.

3. Frequently publish content on organic social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and blogs.

4. Utilize keywords, analytics, competitive analysis, etc. to maximize positive impacts of generated materials.

5. Assist in other PR and Marketing activities as needed.

6. Exceptional resolve to handle positive and irate temperaments on social platforms, and always respond in a way that fosters respect, positive feedback and response, and projects the professional integrity of the company brand.

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:

1. 2-3 years’ experience in content and copy writing with a portfolio of published articles, preference will be given to those with a strong writing portfolio, bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese

3. Has exceptional writing and line editing skills, and enjoys delivering and receiving constructive feedback

4. Have a keen eye for detail, a positive can-do attitude, and team player

5. Has the ability to quickly pivot between different types of content (thought leadership blogs, educational articles, newsletters)

6. Knows how to capture and maintain a company’s tone and voice

7. Experience developing and launching email and text messaging campaigns

8. Demonstrated experience and a passion for the social technologies (Twitter, YouTube, Foursquare, Flickr, blogs, wikis, RSS, social bookmarking, discussion forums and community software)

9. Ability to work effectively under deadlines and several assignments simultaneously

10. Ability to distinguish and behave with a good sense of decorum; acting as a brand ambassador
