The Role

The AMD Gaming Customer Engineering (GCE) is part of the Gaming platform Engineering team and be responsible for customer support for hardware. You’ll be working with the global GCE team on customer support and focus on graphics related areas.

The Person

• Be passionate about working with Graphics and have a Technical acumen with good communication skills and willing to strive for excellence
• Experienced in people manager of the technical team
• Experienced in these spaces: HW Developer, AE, FAE, System Engineer.
• EE/Thermal/Power/Performance/PCIe Topology capabilities is a plus. Capable of leading teams in solving engineering problems is a must
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the AE support team to archive partner product MP on time
• Provide technical support for AMD value customer’s graphics and gaming platform project.
  

Preferred Experience

• Has played Customer Technical facing role and lead team experience
• Solid HW Engineering experience
• Familiarity with X86/Graphics architecture
• Experienced in Chipset & Motherboard layouts & electrical schematics
• Hands-on experience in the setup and configuration of platform systems, including software, networking
• Experience in application/workload profiling, tuning, and performance assessment
• Microsoft Windows Debug skill (Drivers, Kernels) is preferable
• Performance Tuning & Optimization
• Oscilloscope and soldiering skills
• Experience in the use of tools such as Jtag debuggers, logic analyzers, SATA, USB, and PCIe bus analyzers
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Mandarin
  

Academic Credentials

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering required
