WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?

• Responsible for developing the strategy and analysis for spare parts such as parts availability and low stock cost to plan and meet the maintenance and repair budget.
• To provide expertise in ensuring functional availability of production equipment in Making/Packing and Primary areas.
• To develop and roll out plans for improvement of the equipment to increase efficiency and to meet the product quality specification.
• To develop and implement procedures covering preventive equipment maintenance based on downtime and inspection reports, as well as supplier recommendations. Coordinate the manpower requirements for project activities in cooperation with the Production team, the different suppliers, and with specialists within the JTI group (GFT, MTC).
  
  

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Equipment Optimization
• Provides support to the factory production team to ensure the functionality of production equipment in the Making/Packing and Primary areas.
• Develops and rolls out plans for improvement of the equipment to increase efficiency and to meet the product quality specification together with the CI team.
• Maintenance Management
• Plans and coordinates the manpower requirements for production equipment maintenance. Rolls out and coordinates preventive equipment maintenance based on downtime, inspection reports, and supplier recommendations. Creates and maintains open issue lists of the equipment and ensures proper documentation/operator manuals of machine adjustments. Ensure the availability and access of the documents for the relevant shop-floor employees.
• Coordinates the preventive equipment maintenance based on downtime and inspection reports and supplier recommendations. Ensures support of specialists (electricians, chief mechanics) for troubleshooting and repair activities.
• Spare Parts Management
• Develops the strategy for spare parts in relation to parts availability and low stock cost in order to plan and meet the maintenance and repair budget. Ensures good cooperation with the spare parts specialists within JTI and suppliers. It is the task of the competent job owner to ensure that parts are ordered from other JTI factories, OEMs, or alternative suppliers.
• This is achieved by proper and timely coordination, follow-up, and communication with various parties involved in work processes and end-result delivery.
  
  

• Project Management
• Plans and coordinates the manpower requirements for project activities in cooperation with the shift leaders, the different suppliers, and with specialists within the JT group (GFT, MTC).
• Support the installation, acceptance, and run-up of new production equipment in close collaboration with the engineering and quality departments. The job owner does technical clarification for the run ability of new products or products with specification/material changes.
• Compliance
• Responsible for compliance with specific work environments (assurance of proper work conditions). Enforces factory safety rules, inspects and guarantees employees’ awareness and abidance by the safety rules in coordination with the EHS Department. Responsible for production facilities housekeeping standards – 5S3R code of conduct implementation as a “way of life” in all production-related facilities.
• Other
• Manage various tasks and projects as they arise and upon the manager’s request.
• Support IWS rollout and close collaboration with the team members.
  

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• University or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
• At least 5 years of leadership or managerial experience in the maintenance of production machinery
• Excellent Chinese and English communication skills
