Summary

Supermicro Computer, Inc. is seeking for an IT director to be the technical and strategic lead for all regional IT matters based in Taiwan. The role will report directly to Corporate IT head in US. This position will serve as the interface between regional business functions and IT. This position is accountable for regional IT strategy, planning, project management, building a competitive IT team as well as maintaining the desired level of SLA.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Initiate and implement various information systems to support regional business needs

- Drive excellence and continuously raise our standard as a service oriented organization

- This role manages strategically important disciplines with an enterprise impact through diverse teams in a highly complex environment

- Develop regional IT strategy, planning and execute on it

- Ensure global IT strategy be implemented seamlessly at the region

- Maintain the same level security standard in the region as part of the global effort

- Establish a good environment to meet the needs of the information team to stabilize people and improve work efficiency

- Recruit talents and strengthen the technical capable personnel

- Mentor of the team and lead by examples

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

- Be proficient in the design of the network, system, platform

- Working level of fluency or above for both spoken and written English

- 7+ years of proven leadership experience with outstanding organization skills

- Strong project management experience

- Expert facilitation and collaboration skills

- Experience as a regional IT leader in a multinational enterprise environment is preferred
