About Our Client

Our client is a software company dedicated in implementing system to enhance corporate efficiency.

Job Description

• Develop a robust internal control and compliance framework to strengthen governance of the company in Taiwan
• Work with management and key process owners to ensure key internal controls are properly defined, implemented and documented.
• Create an adequate self-audit framework to assess and monitor whether key controls are working as intended on a regular basis.
• Demonstrated ability to assess risk effectively in a changing business environment.
• Ensure internal control deliverables are consistent within and at the required level of quality
• Deliver adequate and timely reporting on internal control deficiencies to ensure appropriate escalation with proper action plans.
• Ensure appropriate level of communication is maintained on internal control matters to support the framework and ensure appropriate ownership and accountability from senior management and managers.
• Ensure local policies are consistent with global/regional policies
• Support J-SOX activities, global and regional audit activities.
• Support any other ad-hoc activities as required.
  

The Successful Applicant

• At least 5 years of accounting, finance, or audit related experiences, with at least 3 years of external audit experiences in Big 4 accounting firm.
• Degree in a related field from a reputable university. Certified Public Accountant, Certified internal auditor, or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Worked at least 3 years in a multi-national company (MNC)
• High level of English proficiency (oral and written) is required. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
• Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to strike a balance between building good rapport and at the same time challenge and influence business partners
• Ability to be collected and able to navigate around ambiguity in a precise and structured manner.
• A motivated self-starter and practice good team work in an organization with the tenacity to enhance the current control environment.
• Maintain high integrity, professionalism, and objectiveness.
