Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Purpose Of The Position
  • Ensures the administration of HR programs / processes / policies establish and reinforce Corning Values and positive work environment
  • Service as HR data steward to maintain and ensure data accuracy, as well as manage the attendance system to work with payroll process
  • Support HR activities and HR projects with providing HR analysis and reports
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Generate report for HR metrics analysis and reporting
  • Implements HR programs / processes / policies in compliance with current legal and regulatory policies and assesses them to determine the extent to which they support Corning Values and positive work environment
  • Gathers and analyzes data on the performance and impact of HR programs / processes /policies Ÿ Service as HR data steward – input, monitors and maintains integrity of data contained in HR systems
  • Handle with labor/health/group insurance and enable to address & support employee’s request/issue as necessary
  • Administers HR payment, billing process and support payroll service Ÿ Maintain and ensure confidential information/materials
  • Support colleagues and customer group on proper use of HR system Ÿ Document filing & data entry and maintain data accuracy
  • Acts the role of Admin; support for Sr HR leaders to maintain calendars, arrange travel and accommodations, Meeting set ups/clean up, Coordination of meetings and logistics, Event planning – from beginning to end and participate and lead assigned projects
  • Manage budget and vendors – airline/ hotels and rental cars, Process expense reports ( business and Cartus)
  • Expat services internal coordination, Car rental management, Service award management
  • Other job assigned by supervisor
Education And Experience
  • Master’s degree in related area and/or HR certifications
  • Successful track record in the collection, analysis and use of data to improve a process/product
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Successful track record of continuous process/product improvement using defined methodology
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast pace environment with limited supervision
  • Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Basic Proficiency in verbal and written English language
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have 2-3 years working experience in HR related area
  • Power BI skill
  • Understand Labor Standards Act
  • Understand insurance policy and process
