As a Head of Sales, you will be proactively leading, developing and coaching the local division Sales; and managing the sales plan to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets with targeted profitability, and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction for Process Automation Business Area in Taipei City, Kaohsiung, Taichung, Taiwan.
Reporting to the Local Division Manager, you will cooperate and coordinate with regional sales manager for AMEA Service, to ensure optimal utilization of resources and alignment in forecasting of sales and execution.
Your responsibilities
- Being accountable for achieving assigned order intake, targeted margin and related objectives for LBL Ports Systems TW and Marine & Ports service TW.
- Managing and leading local sales personnel. Being responsible for development of local team members, and for building up a strong local sales and marketing team. Coaching, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates according to the best practices.
- Working together with global sales and marketing team: coordinates and support resource globally and locally to provide a structured approach to the key customers in the country.
- Managing and leading the new sales and marketing activities in the region together with Global Sales team and according to BL/Division Strategy.
- Supporting and coordinating with BL’s Business Development and Marketing Communication activities in the region.
- Being responsible for budget, forecast, and actions needed to reach target locally and regionally.
- Managing local sales team to prepare and submit quotations to customers under BL support.
- Being responsible for increasing sales, margins, market share and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in sales, business developing, key accounts development and management.
- Knowledge of Ports / Marine & Ports service market in Taiwan.
- Demonstrates Personal leadership - engages team commitment & empower teams to perform.
- Customer & market orientation - anticipate and addresses evolving customer and market needs & build close and sustainable customer relationships.
- Thorough understanding of the business and customer needs
- Constantly keeping him/herself updated with the market requirements, competitors, and technological development to propose technological advanced and optimized solutions.
- Continuous engagement with the LBL/LD/AMEA/BL stake holders & keeps them updated on the development.
- A Degree/Postgraduate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering is desired but can be compensated with good market knowledge and attitude to learn.
- Must have a strong sales-oriented personality, with good capabilities to involve a cross-cultural team in the sales work.
