About Our Client

Our client is Germany’s largest wind turbine manufacturer. With production facilities on three continents and a market representation in 32 countries, 20,000 committed employees are working towards company’s success on a global scale. Their wind turbines are equipped with highly sophisticated technological features which ensure that we remain at the forefront of the wind energy industry. In Taiwan, they have installed more than 200 turbines. They are one of the major wind turbine providers in Taiwan. Their turbines mainly located in the west coast area from Linkou to Yunlin, and also in Penghu.

Job Description

  • From a contractual, commercial and technical background responsible for profitable business case for the exploitation of each wind farm project for the company and the customer alike.
  • Process owner of main After Sales processes in the region: contracting; financial balance; fulfillment of contractual obligations and operational wind farm performance.
  • Responsible for the development and sustainability of one regional After Sales team, based on one regional After Sales strategy (aligned with regional Sales and GSM strategies), defining of processes, developing applicable After Sales functions, competences and culture within the region and implement/make this applicable for each sub-region.
  • Responsible to execute strategic decisions as agreed with the Sales and After Sales Director (and provide support/information).
  • Responsibility for managing the After Sales resources and activities in the region.
  • Responsible for ensuring a single interface with the customer in order to streamline customer relations.
The Successful Applicant

  • University degree (Bachelor / Master) in either economics / business administration and/or a degree in engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant work experiences as manager in the After Sales with disciplinary leadership responsibility.
  • Basic knowledge of business and experience in sales would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrate strong management and analytical skills, persuasive ability and cooperative approach to customer demands.
  • Highly committed, as well as ambitious and visionary thinking.
  • Speak, read and write English and Chinese, any third language would be advantageous.
  • Flexible travelling in Taiwan and APAC.
