• Experience in system engineering including development of requirements and verifying requirements through analysis and test.

• Experience working with vendors and collaborating to develop improved designs.
• Experience using 8D or other root cause analysis.
• Experience in representing safety on a technical project.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, and high visibility environment.
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety testing for server and rack hardware development programs including acoustic testing of trays, testing for electrical hazards, and testing for ergonomics.
• Analyze rack and server drawings and specifications to provide improvement feedback during product development.
• Work with partner teams to assess operational safety, verify safety requirements, and mitigate hazards. Support deployments to verify hazard mitigations.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to set up test environments in labs and production data centers. Leverage technical expertise to provide suggested solutions to test failures and in-service production issues.
• Evaluate logistics operations to identify improvement opportunities.
