We are seeking for a talent who will join HyperX Hardware NTI (Technology) team to deliver reliable and robust gaming peripherals such as Headphones, Microphones, KB and Mouse, for our consumers. The position will be working with internal design team, engage in early product development phases, and collaborating with internal/external resources to ensure delivering products with excellent quality, robustness, and reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Team expert on power/battery related design topics.
  • Engage in technical surveys of innovative power technologies for new project.
  • Discuss project spec. with PM/suppliers.
  • Define and review Proof of concept system design and testing methodology.
  • Owns system prototyping from scratch to performance evaluation.
  • Review EE BOM to meet cost and feature requirements.
  • In-depth review of supplier/internal test report.
  • Co-work with worldwide, multi-site and multi-cultural team.
Basic Qualifications
  • Quick learner, self-motivated, good priorities and time management.
  • Team player with good communication skills. Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • Experience working with various power IC suppliers.
  • Experience with various interface design methodology. (e.g. USB, UART, I2S, SPI, I2C)
  • In-depth knowledge of below fields:
    • Battery power management / Power consumption modeling.
    • System/Power design flow.
    • Design for compliance. (ESD / EMI)
    • Measurement equipment. (Scope / Function generator / Multimeter…etc)
    • Board-level signal verification / debugging.
    • Test scenario / DOE for new features
  • Power system design experience:
    • SPICE simulation software.
    • ACDC adapter / DCDC regulator / Battery Charger / Battery Gauge.
    • Power meter / Electronic load advanced proficiency.
  • Experience with mainstream design tools (PADS/ORCAD/Allegro)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in writing technical document / spec. / application notes.
  • Experience with new concept prototyping and defining test method / criteria.
  • Experience with failure mode analysis.
  • Experience with power noise sensitive design/layout in analog audio application.
Education And Experience Required
  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
