Job Description:

GeoThings just concluded our series A funding in 2022 and now building a survey oriented manual/sensor data collection platform primarily targeting B2B use cases. We are growing and looking for passionate engineers to help our team to reach the next level, all curious and avid coders are welcome, yet we expect candidates to have experience in building web applications and comfortable with typescript and python. We expect our engineers to be self-organized and not afraid of challenging themselves with ambitious design decisions while not compromising on quality.

You would be a good fit for this role if you have:

* 3+ years building front-end or backend applications.

* Experience with building Angular apps.

* Experience with building Django apps.

* Proficiency in Javascript, Typescript, Python.

* Good background in database systems, ability to differentiate and understand use cases when relational / non-relational / in-memory database backends should be applied

Also useful if you have:

* Experience in managing AWS infrastructure, basically, you know what those acronyms stand for: EC2, S3, ECS, IAM, SAM

* Base understanding and some experience with serverless infrastructure: serverless framework, AWS SAM, zappa.

* Some experience in managing infrastructure as code with solution like AWS Cloud Formation or Terraform.

* Experience in working with geolocation data, GIS and services such as MapboxGL, OpenStreetMap.

Appreciate and can demonstrate ability to implement proper test coverage.
